We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Construction and Piping Supervisor to join our team. As a Construction and Piping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects with a specific focus on piping systems. Your role will involve managing and coordinating construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, and maintaining high-quality standards. This position requires strong technical knowledge, leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate construction projects, with a particular emphasis on piping systems, from start to finish.
- Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to ensure accurate and efficient execution of the piping work.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems, including inspection and testing procedures.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely completion of projects within budget.
- Provide guidance and direction to construction teams, including contractors and subcontractors, to ensure compliance with project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure the proper installation and functioning of piping systems.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols and regulations on construction sites to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve any technical issues or discrepancies that may arise during construction.
- Prepare progress reports, including work schedules, budget updates, and completion timelines.
- Communicate and coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and other relevant parties, to ensure effective project execution.
- Stay updated on industry advancements, regulations, and best practices related to construction and piping systems.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or Piping Supervisor, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, piping systems, and relevant safety regulations.
- Solid understanding of project management principles, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings related to piping systems.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using construction management software and other relevant tools.
- Relevant certifications and licenses may be required (e.g., construction management, pipefitting, etc.).
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
